Today there are more resources than ever to assist in a persons RV trip planning needs.  So one could wonder, why review RV Parks?  Is there not already enough review sites?  Are the web sites from the RV parks themselves not enough?

The simple answer - NO

When planning a trip, we rely on sites to give us the information to be able to choose an RV Park, without ever seeing it first hand.  We typically rely on photo's from the RV Parks themselves to determine where we will spend time on our trip.

Have you ever been surprised, and not in a good way, when you arrived at the RV Park, and found it to be different from what you expected?  Did you expect to be able to use the pool that was in a photo, only to find that they have drained it to put in a new liner, and it won't be available during your stay?

Did you see that "FREE WiFi" on the site, only to find out that it's only available near the park office, and your far enough away, that you don't even see the signal?  Or perhaps, your close enough, but the throughput is so bad, a page takes minutes to come up instead of seconds.

Did you find out that not only does a train run near buy, but it so close it shakes the ground?  And what about when you found out it runs many times each night.

How about those wide spaces you thought you would get, to only find that the space they are assigning you is not wide enough to open your awning without hitting your neighbors RV.

Any of these sound familiar?

So how do we do a RV Park review?

  1. We start by telling you what we look for, no hidden scoring system
  2. We take plenty of photo's to show the good, and the not so good
  3. We measure sound levels from around the park
  4. We measure the "WiFi" throughput from around the park
