RVing is more than a lifestyle, it's about “Leaving Ordinary Behind”.
Coast to Coast in Style, starts with RV’ing almost 5,000 miles from Niagara Falls, NY to Las Vegas, NV, exploring unique, and interesting places, and staying at some of the nations “Best” RV parks.
Before we begin our journey, we start with a couple really interesting places here in Western NY. With so many to choose from, we decided to limit our list to only four places.
Watkins Glen State Park.
Watkins Glen is probably the most famous of the finger lakes state parks. With 200 foot cliffs, and raging water falls, we will see what makes this a “must see” park.
Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours.
When hiking along the Niagara Parkway, we heard these screams coming up from the bottom of the canyon, on the river itself.
When we got to the edge, we saw the most fascinating thing. A jet boat taking people up the river towards the whirlpool gorge, going over the class five (5) rapids. The screams we heard where the riders as they would get drenched by water going up the river’s rapids.
The NY State Festival of Balloons.
Who doesn’t like a balloon festival. Each year NY state holds its event in Dansville, NY.
Saratoga Springs Race Course.
Each year after the race for the Triple Crown, up to 50,000 people gather to watch as the world’s best thoroughbred horses compete at Saratoga Springs Race Course.
So there you have it. Our first four adventures, to start off our Coast to Coast in Style expose.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
